Recertification is as easy as 1, 2, 3
1. Know Your Recertification Timeline
Credits accrued between the first of the month after your certification and the end of the month of your certification end date can count toward your recertification. Here is an example of a recertification timeline for someone who passed their CRA exam in May of 2022:
Test Date: May 16, 2022 |
Renewal Deadline |
Credit Accrual Window |
First Renewal |
May 31, 2025 |
June 1, 2022 - May 31, 2025 |
Second Renewal |
May 31, 2028 |
June 1, 2025 - May 31, 2028 |
2. Track Your CE Credits
Non-AHRA activities must be recorded in the CRA CE Tracker Sheet and submitted with your application. AHRA activities can be summarized at the top of the tracker to help keep track of credits per domain area.
IMPORTANT: Save CE credit certificates and information in a personal file not tied to your employment so that you always have access in the case of an audit on your application. CLICK HERE to learn more about supporting documentation requirements.
3. Submit Your CE Credits and Pay Your Recertification Fee
To recertify your CRA credential, submit your CE Tracker and pay the recertification fee of $175.
IMPORTANT: You will not have access to the recertification application after your CRA end date. You can contact the CRA Team to reinstate your license for an additional $75 fee up to 90 days after your end date.
