A CRA in good standing who is no longer actively working in the field of imaging management may apply for Certified Radiology Administrator – Retired (CRA-Retired) status. CRA-Retired status has been created to allow CRAs who have retired from the field of imaging administration to maintain a connection to the credential.
You may also apply for CRA-Retired status within 90 days of the expiration of your CRA credential.
There is a one-time status conversion fee of $75.
IMPORTANT: CRA-Retired status is not a certification program and the RACC makes no claims on the ability of any individual holding CRA-Retired status to meet professional standards for the performance of radiology administration. A CRA-Retired is prohibited from using the CRA designation without the “—Retired” suffix.
