Recertification Overview

CRA Recertification Requirements

To maintain the CRA credential, CRAs must obtain 36 eligible continuing education (CE) credits every 3 years (the triennium).

CE credits for the CRA credential must relate to management-level skills and knowledge in one or more of the five management domain (content) areas tested on the CRA examination:

  1. Human Resource Management
  2. Asset Resource Management
  3. Fiscal Management
  4. Operations Management
  5. Communication and Information Management

Eligible CE Credits

No more than 18 CE credits used acquired during your triennium can come from any single domain (content) area. Use our summary of domain tasks and skills to determine which domain(s) your CE credits fall under.
