Credits for Passing the CRA Exam

CRA Renewals

For passing the exam, new CRAs receive 12 credits of the 36 needed towards their first renewal. Please see our renewal page for more information.

ARRT

Earning an additional certification will no longer receive CE credit effective for CE bienniums beginning on or after January 1, 2018. Therefore, successful completion of the CRA examination is no longer eligible for Category A credits for ARRT Recertification. NMTCB

The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) has approved the CRA as an approved specialty examination. Successful completion of a specialty exam will be recognized as the equivalent of 24 hours of CE on NMTCB renewals.
